Abstract

The objective of the present study was to look into the significance of abnormal seminal findings seen in varicocele patient’s which leads to infertility. Seventy patients suffering from varicocele was subjected for seminal analysis & the abnormal seminal parameters were noted. A proforma was maintained containing demographic & clinical details. Abnormalities which were more pronounced in order of frequency were low seminal volume, asthenospermia, oligoastheno- spermia, oligospermia, azospermia & spermatozoa shows morphological abnormalities. The present study shows the significance changes in seminal parameters which lead to infertility & early surgical intervention can help immensely in cases of male infertility caused by varicocele.
