<title>Antibacterial Screening On Foeniculum Vulgare Mill.R. </title>
<abstract>Ethanol, methanol and aqueous extracts of  lessThan i greaterThan Foeniculum vulgare lessThan /i greaterThan  Mill. seeds were investigated for  lessThan i greaterThan in vitro lessThan /i greaterThan  antibacterial screening by Agar well and Disc diffusion method against  lessThan i greaterThan Escherichia coli lessThan /i greaterThan ,  lessThan i greaterThan Klebsiella pneumoniae lessThan /i greaterThan ,  lessThan i greaterThan Proteus vulgaris lessThan /i greaterThan ,  lessThan i greaterThan Enterobacter lessThan /i greaterThan   lessThan i greaterThan aerogeus, Salmonella typhi, Bacillus cereus  lessThan /i greaterThan and lessThan i greaterThan  Staphylococcus aureus. In Both  lessThan /i greaterThan agarwell and disc diffusion methods, the highest inhibition zone was found in aqueous extracts. It showed greater activity against the maximum tested bacteria followed by ethanol and methanol extract. lessThan i greaterThan   lessThan /i greaterThan The preliminary results of this study lessThan i greaterThan   lessThan /i greaterThan indicate that the aqueous seed extracts lessThan i greaterThan   lessThan /i greaterThan have potentials for antibacterial activity. </abstract>
