<title>ANALYSIS OF MULTIDRUG RESISTANT MICROORGANISMS AMONG THE DIABETIC AND NON-DIABETIC PATIENTS</title>
The aim of the study is to find the predominant microorganisms present in the diabetic and non-diabetic patients. Their antimicrobial resistance pattern has been analyzed using standard antibiotic discs. The pus and urine samples were collected from the diabetes and non-diabetes patients. Biochemical characterization has been performed to identify the predominant bacteria, and its antimicrobial resistance pattern has been investigated using standard antibiotic discs by disc diffusion method. The genetic material of the multidrug resistance pathogens was isolated and analyzed. The predominant bacteria present in the patients were Staphylococcus aureus, Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Escherichia coli and Klebsiella species.
