<title>DEVELOPMENT AND VALIDATION OF HPTLC METHOD FOR THE ESTIMATION OF ESCITALOPRAM OXALATE IN BULK AND PHARMACEUTICAL DOSAGE FORM </title>
<abstract>A new, simple high performance thin layer chromatographic method has been proposed for the determination of escitalopram oxalate in a tablet dosage form. Quantitative analysis was performed by densitometric scanning at 240 nm. The method was validated for linearity, accuracy, precision and robustness. The calibration plot was linear over the range 100-600 ng/band for escitalopram oxalate. The method was successfully applied to the analysis of drug in bulk and pharmaceutical dosage form.</abstract>
