10.22376/ijpbs.2019.10.1.p1-12 Volume 2 Issue 4 2011 (October - December) The ethanolic extract of PC and SS were screened for its analgesicactivity using both tail flick and hot plate method. The extracts in a dose of 200mg/kh significantly increased the basal reaction time which is comparable to that of standard drug pentazocine 5mg/kg .
