<title>Analgesic Activity Of Ethanolic Extract Of Pentatropis Capensis And Sarcostemma Secamone </title>
<abstract>The ethanolic extract of PC and SS were screened for its analgesicactivity using both tail flick and hot plate method. The extracts in a dose of 200mg/kh significantly increased the basal reaction time which is comparable to that of standard drug pentazocine 5mg/kg . From the results it is concluded that the alcoholic extract of the plants PC and SS exhibits analgesic activity by central mechanism</abstract>
