ANTIBACTERIAL ACTIVITY OF MARINE STREPTOMYCES SP.ISOLATED FROM ANDAMAN & NICOBAR ISLANDS, INDIA

The marine microbial taxa and actinomycetes diversity are not been fully explored. Actinomycetes were isolated from marine soil samples and screened for antibacterial activity. The standard antibiotic streptomycin disc (25µg) was used as positive control.
